Develop the blog, it really started with one small idea. I wanted to make it easier to navigate, add a few new pages, improve the structure, and perhaps create a new menu.

But, as so often happens when you begin changing a few small things on a website, the project quickly grew into something much bigger.
During the week we have, among other things:
🌿 created new topic pages
📚 developed workbooks for Live Your Life – How Hard Can It Be?
🔍 worked on SEO and keywords
🇸🇪/🇬🇧 translated posts and pages into English
🧭 rebuilt menus and expanded the Explore the Blog section
🔗 added more internal links between posts
📈 followed the website statistics and noticed that search engines are starting to find the blog more often.
Developing the blog isn’t just about publishing new posts. It’s also about creating a better structure, improving SEO, and making it easier for you, the reader, to find what you’re looking for.
Of course, we also had our fair share of battles with WordPress.
Menus disappeared, links suddenly became invalid, and buttons refused to do what they were supposed to do. At one point it honestly looked as if WordPress had won. But both WordPress and my digital colleague, ChatGPT, underestimated one thing — my determination.
Eventually I found the solution to a problem we had been struggling with. I laughed and realised that this time I had actually beaten both WordPress and ChatGPT. Or perhaps, more accurately, I had beaten the problem itself.
That’s probably how I work.
Everything starts with one small idea. Then it grows. I test things, I get stuck, I try again, and sooner or later it usually works out.
Looking back at this week, I realise that developing the blog became a much bigger project than I had imagined. The blog is gradually becoming a place that is easier to explore, easier to read, and easier to stay connected with.
And that feels really good.
As I sum up the week, I don’t just see new pages, improved menus, and many hours spent working on the blog. I also see a long-awaited reunion with people who mean a great deal to me. It filled my heart with gratitude and joy.
Some moments don’t need to be described in detail to be deeply meaningful.
And now it’s time for the next chapter.
Tomorrow we’re finally heading to Vimmerby. My husband and I have been looking forward to this for so long. The motorhome is almost packed, and now a few days await where the computer can rest while life takes centre stage.
Life doesn’t always turn out the way we planned. But sometimes it becomes just as beautiful as we dared to hope.
Between the Lines – Develop the blog
Sometimes it’s not the smartest solution that moves us forward. Sometimes it’s simply the willingness to try one more time. And sometimes you discover that one small idea can grow into something much bigger once you begin developing the blog.
🌿 Develop the blog. Became More Than a Project – Reflection
Sometimes everything begins with one small thought.
An idea to change a menu, write a new post, or create a new page. Before you know it, that small idea has grown into something much bigger. That’s exactly how this week has felt.
I’ve also been reminded that the things which matter most are rarely found in statistics or visitor numbers. What truly matters are the people we share life with, the moments we carry in our hearts, and the joy of creating something meaningful.
Now a new journey awaits.
Tomorrow we’re heading to Vimmerby with excitement, anticipation, and the feeling that life continues to fill itself with new stories.
Perhaps that’s how life works. One small idea becomes one small step. That step becomes a journey. And suddenly you realise you’ve travelled much farther than you ever expected.
