thursday reflection blog statistics presence early morning coffee

Early morning, coffee, and order

The morning is early–early, and the coffee is standing right here beside me.
It’s Thursday, and this Thursday reflection on blog statistics and presence has become a quiet ritual in my writing.
Not to analyze numbers, but to see where the blog travels – and who stays for a moment in the words.

Because in my body, it’s Thursday.
And Thursday is blog statistics.
Thursday is about seeing where the blog travels in the world.

When I stopped pushing

I’ve stopped linking so much. Sometimes I link to Facebook, mostly only when I feel that a blog post is especially good.

These particular posts about statistics don’t need to be shared further.
They run on their own.

Why that is – or how it comes to be – I don’t really know.
Maybe it’s others who are building, others who are writing, others who are in the middle of something, who read them.

And then a question arises in me.

I don’t teach – I greet

I don’t teach anything in these posts.
You don’t become wiser.
You don’t blog more smartly because you read them.

My intention with them is something else.

To say:

hello, I see you.

You who read here at home.
And you who sit on the other side of the seas.
I see you too.

When I look at the past seven days

Thursday reflection, blog statistics, and presence in the body

It’s still the same texts that carry:

Everyday life, ADHD, and presence
The yarn shop, Alfred, and a pair of blue mittens
Children, boundaries, and questionstexts that stay in the body
Not whole – but more whole

It strikes me that it’s not the fast texts that live the longest.
It’s the ones that are allowed to take up space in the body.

Questions for you who are reading

Do you read statistics as numbers – or as traces of people?
Are there texts you return to, without quite knowing why?
What does presence mean to you when you read someone else’s words?
Where in the world are you sitting right now as you read this?

The blog travels – and I follow with my gaze

Sweden is there.
But also the United States, Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia, India.

People I’ve never met.
People who still chose to stay for a moment in my words.

Most people read on a computer.
That tells me they don’t just pass by.
They sit down.

Reflection – order is not control

Thursday reflection blog statistics and presence in the body

For me, a Thursday reflection on blog statistics and presence is a way of checking direction rather than results.

This isn’t a strategy.
It’s a rhythm.

Thursday isn’t really about numbers.
It’s about pausing and seeing:
things are moving.

Not because I’m chasing.
But because I’m writing what is true for me.

AHA – between the lines

Maybe that’s why these posts carry.
Not because they teach anything.
But because they say:

you are not alone here.

Between the lines – my voice

I don’t write to build reach.
I write to build presence.

And sometimes it’s enough to simply stand still
and see how far the words have already come.

Yesterday has already come to rest in history,
tomorrow is waiting further ahead.
But right now – this is where life happens.
