In this post, I share weekly blog statistics for malix.se and my thoughts on reading and being read.
A new week on my blog, where texts about children, understanding, and my own reflections continue to find their way out into the world.
It is not the numbers that matter most, but the fact that words keep moving – and that someone chooses to stop and read.

When readers keep finding their way here

It is another week, and I pause for a moment with the statistics.
Not because the numbers are the most important, but because they show that my words continue to live outside of myself.
They show me what holds meaning, and what I – at least – like to believe makes a difference.

During this past week people have kept reading.
They return.
They find their way into texts that speak to both heart and thought.
It feels good to see.

This is exactly what I follow in the statistics for malix.se.

Blog statistics malix.se – what has been read most

It is the texts that carry both emotion and reflection that receive the most attention.
Those are also the posts that give me the most strength. When I write them, time stops and I am in the flow.
That can be both good and challenging. If I am interrupted, I might not be the most pleasant.
That is why I write early in the morning when everyone is still asleep.

Especially the posts about children, dignity, and how we meet each other when things hurt create engagement.
The English versions are also being discovered, which means the blog reaches far beyond my own small part of the world.

People come back.
The same readers, and new ones.
From here and from far away.

It makes me happy to know that my words can reach places I might never visit myself.
The texts carry their own purpose.
Here, they can wander – step by step, path by path – and find their own way forward.

How they read

Most people read from a computer.
That means someone is really sitting down and giving their time.
It warms my heart, because then it is not just a quick scroll in a feed.
That time is valuable.
I am grateful for it.

Reflection – between the lines

This week confirms what I already know:
When I write what is true for me, readers stay.
When I dare to be close to myself, someone else finds something of themselves in the words.

I keep following that direction.
It feels right.

AHA – between the lines

What is written close to the heart also lands close to the heart of the one who reads.

Forward

I keep writing about life as it is.
And also about the hard parts that show us who we want to be.

The blog is alive. And so am I.
Almost as if we have become close friends, you and I.
Even if you don’t know it and even if I don’t know who you are, you are a friend.
A returning friend who takes the time to read my words.
That is what makes me continue doing what I do.

A question for you who read

– What do you take with you from reading here?
– Is there a topic you would like me to write more about?
– What brings you back?

I am grateful that someone out there continues to find value in my words.
It gives me strength and direction. It reminds me why I keep writing, even when it is difficult.
Every read, every return, is a small nod of recognition – and that is enough.

Yesterday has already laid down to rest in history.
Meanwhile, tomorrow is waiting further ahead showing what the future might hold.
Even though both yesterday and tomorrow exist within us and in our thoughts, it is here and now that life actually happens.
That is why it is so important to be present, right here in the moment that unfolds.
Tomorrow waits further ahead.
But right now – this is where life happens.
