WordPress 7.0 blog statistics – and suddenly the block editor works again

WordPress 7.0 blog statistics became today’s little surprise here on malix.se.
Or maybe quite a big one actually.

WordPress has been updated and suddenly the block editor is working again.

Earlier it caused a lot of trouble for me.
So much that I often had to write in the old simpler gray version instead. It worked, but sometimes it felt like trying to write with one hand tied behind my back when I wanted to create a slightly nicer structure for my posts.

But now it finally seems to work again.

And honestly, it feels unexpectedly fun.

Suddenly there are more helpful tools, AI functions, better structure and more possibilities directly inside WordPress. At the same time, I am still me, writing more or less the way I always have. I do not want to lose the human part just because technology changes.

WordPress 7.0 blog statistics on a Thursday 📊

And since it is Thursday here on the blog, that of course also means statistics day.

What today’s numbers show is that the USA has dropped quite a lot compared to a few weeks ago. Back then, the USA was almost bigger than Sweden on some days, which still feels a little strange to think about.

Now the traffic from there has decreased to about half.

At the same time, visitors are now coming from more countries instead:

  • Ireland
  • Hong Kong
  • The Netherlands
  • China
  • The Philippines
  • Pakistan

…and a few more small places around the world.

It is actually a little fascinating.
That words written at a kitchen table in Sweden can end up with people on the other side of the world.

This week’s WordPress 7.0 blog statistics also show how much a blog changes over time.

Something new has also moved into the blog 🌿

Something new also happened this week here on malix.se.

I uploaded:

  • Package 1 in Live your life – how hard can it be?
  • and a small free PDF with small steps, reflections and kinder everyday thoughts.

And you know what…

The PDF actually got its very first click.

That might sound small.
But to me it still feels a little big.

Because behind that small file are many thoughts about:

  • ADHD
  • stress
  • recovery
  • small steps
  • self-talk
  • and how difficult life can sometimes feel even when we are trying.

Maybe that is exactly how new things begin.
Not with huge explosions.
But with one small click somewhere in the world.

Between the lines – WordPress 7.0 blog statistics 🌙

Maybe that is what this blog has become for me over the years.

Not only statistics or numbers.
But small traces of human presence.

Someone reads from a rainy morning in Sweden.
Someone else might find a post about ADHD, exhaustion or small steps in the middle of the night somewhere in the USA or Ireland.

And sometimes, that actually feels like enough.

Reflection – WordPress 7.0 blog statistics 🌿

Maybe that is exactly what the blog has become over time.

Not only statistics, numbers and clicks.
But a small room where people can breathe together for a while.

Here I write about ADHD, everyday life, exhaustion, relationships, recovery, motorhome life, grief, humor and small moments at the kitchen table. About life as it actually feels in the middle of ordinary days.

And sometimes I think maybe many of us are trying to do roughly the same thing:
to hold everyday life together without losing ourselves along the way.

This week both Package 1 and the small free PDF moved into the blog. Small attempts to create something that might help someone else feel a little less alone in their thoughts.

And maybe that is really how everything grows.
One small step.
One click.
One person recognizing themselves in another.

A question for you reading 💭

Have you noticed that some texts seem to reach people more than others?

And do you think we are longing more for what feels genuine rather than perfect today?
